For those of you who didn’t catch us last week on Life Conversations Radio, you can go to http://bit.ly/tZrHJO & listen to the archived the show. Maureen & I had a great time as Ade’s guests. Accolades to Ade & his wonderful co-producer, Betty Pegues!! They are two of the most joyful, heart-centered, kind & generous people I have had the pleasure to know. Their show is infused with spiritual teachings & features visionary thinkers, authors, artists etc who show us what love-in-action looks like. There is a reason that their listeners & guests feel so uplifted & inspired through their show that they produce Monday through Thursday each week. What is the reason? Simply this. Both Ade & Betty pour their whole heart & soul into each and every show. They give their best because this is one of the ways they serve all of us, in the vision that we “be the change we hope to see” unfold in the world. With this as their sacred mission, these two incredible people weave their deep wisdom & radiant spirits together, creating an experience that we can tap into, live on a daily basis, or archive whenever we would like a boost of joy. It’s that easy. And it’s that powerful. So kudos to Betty & Ade. You add so much richness to our lives & assist all of us to realize maximum success through minimal effort!! Maureen & I welcome your comments.

Blog Talk Radio

A few days ago I had the absolute pleasure of being on Emilio Williams’ show, Elevate the Soul. This being my second time as a guest on a blog talk radio show, I’m totally hooked!  It has been so amazing to meet such beautiful people through this medium.  Along with Emilio, I met Ade Anifowose and Betty Pegues who produce Life Conversations Radio, in July when I was on blog talk radio the first time.  All of these wonderful people offer uplifting, soulful conversations to the thousands of listeners who tune in and call in.  I loved everything about my experiences and in particular, that the hosts support one another.  That’s right…I said they support one another!  Talk about walking your talk!  Instead of seeing their shows as competition, they encourage their listeners to catch each other’s shows.  The first time I heard them promote each other, I was totally surprised and thoroughly impressed.

What is so exciting to me is that nowadays I am hearing more and more people speaking about collaboration.  I say, it’s about time!  Throughout my life and career, I’ve always thought that we need to support, not compete with one another.  To experience this shift in consciousness today is amazing and I am so grateful to bear witness and participate in the evolution of consciousness.

I love the little parable about the very hungry people who are all sitting around a large, round table, starving– even though there’s a ton of food on the table.  Trouble is the utensils are too long for them to feed themselves.  This is called “hell”.  And then the scene shifts to the very same people, sitting at that same table with all of the food on it.  But this time they are all laughing and having such a good time.  Why?  Because they finally figured out they if they use their utensils to feed the person sitting across the table, they could all benefit.  This is called “heaven”.
